Once he had fulfilled his rescue mission here, Jesus visibly ascended into heaven before his disciple’s eyes. God exalted Jesus again to his position of glory and honor as the King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus now reigns over all things for our eternal good. As the angels said, he will return in majesty, visibly, on the clouds, to judge the living and the dead.
